We had an amazing day out on the water with Captain Greg. He was knowledgeable, patient, and just a genuinely chill guy to spend the day with. From the moment we got on the boat he made everything feel relaxed and easy. His pontoon boat was spacious, very clean, and in great condition. We launched from Matlacha and cruised all around Charlotte Harbor, Pine Island Sound, and even out toward the Gulf. Along the way we saw dolphins and got to experience some really beautiful parts of the area that you’d never find on your own. One of the highlights of the trip was when Captain Greg took us to the Pelican sandbar near Cayo Costa. Boats gather there in shallow water and you can get out, walk around, and go shelling. It felt like a hidden little paradise and was such a cool experience. We had both of our kids with us (a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old) and Captain Greg was fantastic with them. He had all the proper safety equipment and made sure everyone felt comfortable the whole time. Our 4-year-old is still talking about the dolphins and the shells she found. This ended up being one of the highlights of our trip and an incredible value for the experience.
