Great trip with to Icacos and Palomino
Special 6 hours trip for Matthew Phipps on March 29, 20268 adults
First off, we had a great day. Captain Manu was helpful, easy going, and made sure we had a fun day. Our kids had a blast snorkeling off of Palomino and playing on the beautiful beach of Icacos. We were able to spend lots of time at each spot on our 6hr trip. The boat was in good shape, kids loved sitting up top during the commutes, and was plenty of snorkeling gear (we did bring the kids’ goggles). I will say that we originally requested a trip to Culebra, and we were told it would be about a one hour commute to get there, and of course weather permitting. When we got there that morning, the Captain said it would be a choppy 2hr ride to Culebra, so he recommended Palominos and Icacos instead. That’s fine, we knew it was weather permitting, but was a little disappointing and feel like we paid a higher amount than the standard trip to Icacos and Palomino. Again, we had a great day, but feel like worth including that.
Response from Captain

Thank you so much for your kind words and for spending the day with us—we’re truly glad to hear your family had such a great time and that the kids enjoyed snorkeling and exploring both islands! We do want to sincerely acknowledge your disappointment regarding the change in destination. Trips to Culebra are always weather-dependent, and on the day of your charter, sea conditions made for a much longer and rougher ride than anticipated. Your safety and overall comfort are always our top priority, which is why Captain Manu recommended an alternative route. To make sure your experience was still full and memorable, we adjusted the itinerary to include both Icacos and Palomino—two beautiful destinations—so you could enjoy more time in the water and on the beach rather than spending a significant portion of your trip in choppy conditions. We truly appreciate your understanding, and your feedback is valuable as we continue to improve communication around these possibilities. It means a lot that despite the change, you still had a great day with us! We’d love the opportunity to welcome you back in the future—hopefully for that Culebra trip under perfect conditions
