Tour From Shkoder to Shala River
The tour departs from Shkodra city center, near Teatri Migjeni, at 06:55 AM. Guests are kindly requested to arrive 20 minutes earlier. From Shkodra, we begin a comfortable and scenic journey towards Koman Port, passing through breathtaking landscapes of northern Albania.
The road from Shkodra to Koman is an experience in itself. Along the way, you will enjoy spectacular views of traditional villages, majestic mountains, and the stunning Vau i Dejës Lake. We make a relaxing stop for coffee and photo/video opportunities, allowing you to capture the beauty of this untouched region.
Upon arrival at Koman Port, the official meeting point is Bar Kafe Rozafa, located inside the port area. Here, you have time to relax, enjoy a drink or snack, and take photos or videos before boarding the boat.
The boat ride from Koman to the Shala River is truly unforgettable. You will sail through dramatic canyons, towering rock formations, dense forests, and remote old villages. The area is rich in wildlife and bird species. During the journey, you will see waterfalls, the famous Page Island, and crystal-clear waters surrounded by cliffs.
Once at Shala River, you will have plenty of free time to:
Walk along the river or explore nearby mountain paths
Swim in the cold, pure turquoise waters
