Today was an amazing experience on the beautiful Sarita looking out from the roomy, covered top deck at the many dolphin & gorgeous scenery that we passed. Capt. Jay knew all about the area, being raised here, and was very informative. It was so interesting to learn about the Gulf Coast from migrating birds to sea life to the many ships in the channel with tugboats & pilot boats. It was very comfortable on board & the 1st mate made sure we had everything we needed. It was an unforgettable day for us all but especially for my niece on her 60th birthday that she won’t forget when she returns to the New Mexico mountains. Thank you so much Captain Jay & crew for the best day on the water ever. We will tell all our friends about you & hopefully do it again.

So about my background: We are a family of 5, kids 2, 5, 16, and I’m a first responder. We took not just one but 2 trips with Captain J and crew and couldn’t be happier! I’m an outdoorsman, enjoy fishing, exploring, just being out in nature. My wife enjoys it too, but also loves her creature comforts! This was the perfect blend of both worlds, offering “a-la-cart” activities. Captain J clearly knows what he’s doing, and knows his area with decades of experience, and enjoys sharing his stories and history of the area we were in. The boat was amazing! I hadn’t been on a cruising boat before so I didn’t know exactly what to expect. My boat experience is mostly with small fast boats with the wind in my face, and often the waves in my face! This boat wasn’t that. It was spacious and comfortable with a small kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect for a family! Being a big heavy boat it made for a steady, stable platform to enjoy the view. Imagine a huge front porch to relax on with the scenery sliding by, that’s what it was like! Just a morning boat ride would have been great fun and a relaxing time, with a unique perspective on the islands, the beaches, the birds and of-course DOLPHINS! But he even treated us to catching some fish, something we were hoping to do but didn’t know if it would work out! He managed to put the girls on 3-4 good size fish that made their day! The 5-hour trip was the perfect time to squeeze this charter in between other activities, but there is so much more we could’ve done if we had the time. I think we’ll do an overnight next time if we can, but for sure a sunset cruise next time on an 8-hour! I would love to see the sunset from the water and get some great pics. We went for a 3 hour cruise with my son, husband and brother in law! We had so much fun and got to see dolphins swimming and jumping right alongside the boat. Captain Jay and his crew were great with our young son. It was such a beautiful day, I saw a group of stingrays too! My son still talks about it. It was such a fun experience and great memory for our family. We loved it and can’t wait to go again!

Best day on the water Capt. Jay was awesome we went on a dolphin watch scenic cruise. Got to see a bunch of wildlife…. birds of all kinds and dolphins. Capt. Jay let me drive the boat… memories for a lifetime.
