4 Hour – Nassau Adventure
Half Day with Captain Rico
We had the best day! We booked a half day with Rico and his mate and enjoyed every minute of it! We loaded onto his very nice boat which was pristine clean an well equipped. Were given nice new life vests, a safety talk and it was obvious Rico really was an expert in his craft and had done this for many years. He gave us quite a bit of history as we toured around the island of Nassau, downtown, huge cruise ships, gorgeous yachts, the old Fort Nassau, the up and coming new island for Royal Caribbean, Paradise Island and pig island. We got to go ashore to feed the large pigs and hold some of the numerous baby pigs (so darn cute!) and saw lots of TURTLES and colorful fish swimming nearby. Super fun! We then went to a beautiful and very colorful reef that was so alive and vibrant with gorgeous blue, orange, green coral and unique green plants that looked like they were from outer space - big green bowls, lots of huge brain coral, it was amazing, not to mention the beautiful, colorful fish! We have been on several other more advertised snorkeling trips to other famous locations that were half dead and not nearly as beautiful as this small reef. Really cool! We then went to a floating restaurant/bar for a great lunch and drinks and more snorkeling in the shallows. We'd highly recommend this trip to anyone - The equipment was new and well maintained, we felt safe and well taken care of the entire day and we'd do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Rico!

We had the best time renting a private boat with Captain Rico and first mate Wilson. They made our day on the water unforgettable. They showed us some incredible historical spots around the Bahamas and shared fun facts along the way, which made the trip feel so special and personal. We also went snorkeling in the most beautiful crystal-clear water. Truly a highlight of our trip! Captain Rico and Wilson are friendly, professional, and made sure we were comfortable and having fun the entire time. It was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and local insight. Highly recommend booking with them, it’s an experience you won’t forget!
