Set sail aboard Vexa, a beautifully restored 2000 Grady White 27 Sportfishing (refreshed in 2024), based in Hurghada. Perfect for up to four guests, Vexa combines speed, style, and comfort with a powerful 250 HP Yamaha outboard, reaching up to 30 knots.
Captain George Safwat is an expert in boat tours, snorkeling adventures, and island hopping, ensuring a memorable day on the water tailored to your preferences. Onboard, enjoy amenities designed for comfort and fun: bow sundeck, cozy cabin with berth, full bath, head, toilet, icebox, grill, audio system, outside speakers, fishfinder, and rod holders.

The captain was excellent, skilled, and knowledgeable, making this excursion highly recommendable for anyone! The successful catch (Barracuda, Grouper/Seabass) and the professional organization guaranteed a perfect day. The Captain and Crew – Guarantee of Excellence: The key to the trip's success was the superb captain and the crew's attitude. The captain was not just navigating; he was expertly directing the fishing. He knew exactly when and where to hunt for the big fish, demonstrating a perfect understanding of the Red Sea conditions. The crew was skilled and knowledgeable, which was particularly helpful when employing the multiple techniques. They patiently assisted every participant, from beginners to experienced anglers, ensuring a comfortable and productive fishing experience for all. Fishing Methods and Experience: Throughout the full-day trip, we had the opportunity to try multiple fishing methods: Trolling was used in the open water to target fast, surface predators. Bottom fishing was done near the coral reefs and drop-offs. This variety ensured that we could fish effectively regardless of the weather or the fish's activity levels. The Catch – Barracuda and Grouper/Seabass: The Red Sea’s rich marine life did not disappoint! Thanks to the captain’s precise local knowledge, we successfully landed two of the most exciting species: Barracuda: The strikes while trolling were adrenaline-pumping—these fish are true fighters. Grouper/Seabass (Sügérfélék): Around the reefs, beautiful, colourful, and strong Grouper/Seabass species were hooked in the deeper water, providing an excellent fight. Conclusion: This trip is more than just a fishing excursion; it is an excellent, full-day experience. Due to the professional approach, the opportunity to use multiple methods, and the captain’s outstanding expertise, it is highly recommended for anyone looking to catch serious sea fish in the Safaga/Hurghada region.

Perfect Fishing Trip with captain Farag — A Day to Remember
Our adventure started early in the morning as we set out on the boat, the sun just starting to rise over the horizon. The sea was calm, the air fresh, and everyone was full of excitement for what was ahead. We kicked things off with some trolling — and it didn’t take long before the action began! The first catch of the day was a beautiful mahi-mahi, flashing bright greens and blues as we pulled it in. That moment set the tone for the rest of the trip — pure excitement and great vibes all around. But our main target was something deeper and more challenging: deep-sea fish and the elusive giant squid. The crew knew exactly what they were doing, and after some patience, the rods bent again — and this time it was something special. We managed to pull up a diamond squid, shimmering like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It was a true highlight of the trip! And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, we hit the jackpot — three magnificent swordfish. One weighed around 12kg, but the other two were absolute monsters — both well over 40kg. The fight was intense, the adrenaline was real, and everyone on board was cheering as each swordfish finally broke the surface. By the end of the day, the boat was filled with laughter, stories, and the unforgettable sight of the open ocean. Between the mahi-mahi, the diamond squid, and the three swordfish, it was the kind of fishing trip you dream about — full of action, teamwork, and memories that’ll last forever.
