Sailing Salty Adventures 

I am a sailor with 35 years experience, as a racer of dinghies and yachts. For the last 25 years I have been skippering / delivering sailing and motor yachts up to 499 Gross tons. I have over 100k+ sea millage. I studied software engineering. Then I worked in a biggest bank of Turkey for 15 years as a system engineer and evidenced and developed my problem solving, crisis management, and project management. I was researching technologies, procuring, installing, and testing hardware and software. While working in banking I started my own yachting school and trained many new yachtsmen and yachtswomen. My knowledge and calm teaching style has been appreciated by my students and many returned time and time again. I moved to the UK in 2015 (sailing solo from Turkey) where I have since run my own yachting business. All my life I have renovated and repaired my own boats, including to coded standard. Since moving to the U.K. I have done this work commercially for private owners and as a sub-contractor. This includes renovation, maintenance, and installation - electronic, electrical, plumbing, structural, engine, air-conditioning systems and hydraulic systems on sailing and motor yachts. My lifelong passion for the yachting sector means I offer an excellent combination of product knowledge, engineering, repair and renovation skills, business management experience, teaching and skippering experience, including as a race skipper and I am a qualified commercial yacht master with public liability and skipper insurance. I do yacht deliveries professionally. I also have the knowledge and experience to solve any problem that may arise during the delivery.
