His maritime journey began at The Bahamas Maritime Training Institute, where he mastered seamanship and navigation. By 2009, he had earned his B-class captain's license, further cementing his expertise and he's been on the water and staying up to date ever since. Ky's love for the ocean led him to a private island owned by Grammy award-winning artist Shakira and the legendary Roger Waters. As the head island caretaker, he charmed celebrity guests with unforgettable boat tours. Kyah's enthusiasm for his beautiful homeland is infectious, and he can't wait to share his knowledge and love for the ocean with future visitors!

How cancellations work

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Reserve with a 10% booking deposit, pay the captain the rest
When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 10% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
