Comino / Blue Lagoon Small-Boat Cruise — September 17, 2026 The 22-passenger boat was an ideal size—small enough to feel personal and maneuver easily into the coves, without the compromises of a large excursion boat. The captain was attentive throughout. The pacing was particularly good. Two swim stops plus approximately one hour ashore at Blue Lagoon proved to be just right. Neither the swimming stops nor the land visit felt rushed or unnecessarily long. Perfect sunny weather made the water and coastline spectacular. There are two important cautions friends should know in advance. First, the popular coves become crowded with excursion boats clustered very close together. The scenery is beautiful, but this is not a secluded boating experience. Second, access to Blue Lagoon now requires an advance-access wristband. Our boat operator had this well organized: a QR code was available on board to scan for the required access, so we were able to go ashore without difficulty. The 22-passenger size, two swimming stops and one-hour Blue Lagoon visit were an excellent combination. The crowding is the principal drawback—but it didn’t detract enough from the experience to change the recommendation.

been living in Malta for over 7 years now and I always took my guests to the Blue Lagoon with the private transport… this trip though… exceeded all out expectations!!! acess to quiet hidden places… swimming and snorkeling in 3 amazing places, finally at the Crystal lagoon as well. spengding time swimming around the boat and not with the crowds at the Blue Lagoon, exploring beautiful caves… cannot be grateful enough for this experience! whiskey - the skipper - was also absolutely amazing, smiling all the time, introducing us to all the places, giving bread to the fish so we could enjoy snorkeling with hundred of fish… just magical. will definitely take my guests on this boat ride from now on❤️❤️

we were a large group of 13 including 6 children all under 7. the crew were fantastic and the captain brought along his 10yo son, who also taught us all how to fish! great day out, the kids had a blast and all fell asleep on the way home.

We booked all 24 spots for this trip meaning we had the boat to ourselves and we had the best day with our skipper Adrian. We booked for my sisters hen do and got to explore the beautiful blue lagoon, listen to music, dance, swim, drink, and have the most fun day. There were also pool noodles and a paddle board available for us to use. Couldn’t recommend more!!

El capitan fue muy divertido y amable, nos lo pasamos genial y lo mejor fueron las 2 tablas de paddle surf que tienen a disposicion. Sin duda repetiria, mi pareja y yo fuimos en el barco que es un poco mas grande y el trato fue excepcional, volveremos!🤩 Disponen de servicio de bebidas a precios que estan bien.
