Seaside Charter Co. Island Excursions Topsail 

We charted Captain Jake’s boat for four hours at surf city. Pick up was easy. There were four of us total and we had plenty of room and the price was very reasonable. He took us to an island in the intercoastal waterway where we hung out for most of the time and had a blast swimming. He also has a drone that he takes up and records what is around you and the things he finds are amazing! He is so nice and so personable and he wants your experience to be the absolute best! You don’t even need to bring chairs. I will definitely use him again when I’m in Surf city. If you don’t book him, you’re missing out!

We had a wonderful evening aboard Seaside Charter with Captain Jake and would highly recommend the experience to anyone visiting the Topsail area. Captain Jake is a true local who grew up in the area, and his love for Topsail and the surrounding waters is evident throughout the trip. His personal connection to the barrier islands, wildlife, and local history added a special touch that made the outing much more meaningful than a typical boat ride. During our excursion, Captain Jake took us to several beautiful barrier islands and a bird sanctuary where we were able to enjoy some of the area's natural beauty and wildlife. He was excellent at spotting and pointing out dolphins, ospreys, and green herons, making sure everyone had an opportunity to see and appreciate them. His knowledge of the local ecosystem and wildlife made the trip both fun and educational. The boat itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It provided a relaxing setting to enjoy the scenery and spend quality time together as a family. One thing that really stood out was how great Captain Jake was with the children in our group. He was patient, engaging, and made sure the little ones felt included and excited throughout the trip. If you're looking for a relaxing family outing, a chance to see local wildlife, or simply a beautiful evening on the water, Seaside Charter is an excellent choice. Captain Jake's knowledge, professionalism, and genuine passion for the area made for a memorable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water and would not hesitate to book another trip with him the next time we're in Topsail.

We wanted a leisurely afternoon and that’s exactly what we got! Captain Jake catered our trip to what we wanted to do and it was the perfect day!! We’ll definitely book again!

Captain Jake was perfect. He knows the waterway. He knew ideal location to go. He was extremely accommodating and it was an overall great experience. We’ve already rebooked our next trip.

Jake was awsome this isn’t some commercial excursion tour. We went to all the cool local spots, got some island beach time in and had a blast.
