8 Hour – Rose Island Charter
We booked Captain Lamont for a day excursion as we were spending a week at Baha Mar. It was an excellent decision!! Capt Lamont picked us up on the beach just next to Baha Mar, super easy walk. His boat is very comfortable with triple 350 Mercury's. Within 30 minutes we were able to snorkel with turtles, which we saw at least 5, then multiple stingrays as well. The kids searched for shells, found snails, crab and even a live conch. We then pivoted to a quite beach where we were the only people present and were able to just lounge and enjoy some vitamin D! After that we went and had lunch at Footprints, which was amazing. Captain then took us to see pigs (not the Exuma pigs, that's too far!) so the kids were able to check that box. We then came back to Baha Mar and were dropped back off at Baha Mar beach. Everyone had a great time and it was something the resorts can't offer. Captain Lamar and Bernie were simply amazing and if we come back, we'd definitely book them again!!
