Ever have the feeling you are missing out on something special? Whether you are a vacationer, native, or recent new resident of the upper SC coast, where do you go to get away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds? Got an answer!
Fish Skinny Charters & Guide Service offers more than just fishing charters. The inshore saltwater estuaries, brackish bays, and inland freshwater rivers adjacent to Georgetown, SC are rich with natural scenic views and historic points of interest like nowhere else along the northern South Carolina coast. From the Spanish moss-draped Cypress trees of the rivers out to the Spartina grass-lined salt creeks and Palmetto tree-dotted barrier islands, wildlife is everywhere. Customize your eco/site seeing trip to your desired interest whether it be viewing the plantation homes and former rice fields up and along the Great Pee Dee River out to the sprawling open waters and marsh of the North Inlet-Winyah Bay National Estuarine Reserve or down to the even more remote Santee Delta and Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge, tens of thousands of acers just waiting for you to see it!
Captain Greg is a lifelong native of upper coastal SC and in his 60 years has experienced all of these areas numerous times (which never gets old) and would consider it a privilege to give you those experiences also.
Children 5 years old and up are most definitely welcome. While 4 adults is the maximum for comfort/safety reasons, 5-6 is possible with smaller children as part of the group. Trip departure times are somewhat flexible but still in the AM hours up to 12:00 PM.
An onboard cooler with ice is provided for your convenience to hold any water, beverages, or snacks needing to be kept cool.
Safety of clients is TOP PRIORITY! Next is that your trip is enjoyable exploring the waters of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
Limited spots available—book your boat tour today to see a part of the South Carolina coastal area a lot of folks don't know exists, let alone experience!

Being a true native and having grown up and living along the upper South Carolina coast has instilled in me a love of the water especially anything that involves being on a boat. Some of us call ourselves 'Water Babies'! Like most folks I worked 'on the hill', but a point in life came when I chose to pursue a dream. Having acquired a US Coast Guard captain's license in 2002, I put it to use beginning in the fall of 2009 and haven't looked back. There are parts and days it's not so glamorous, like washing the boat, oil change day or maintenance in general but you know what, there are a lot worse things I could be doing like working 'on the hill' all the time!
