California Coastal Charters 

California Coastal Charters is a 1996 Wellcraft SCARAB Center console (restored in 2021), based out of Dana Point. It can take up to six guests. The boat is powered by two 250 HP gasoline outboard Yamaha engines, offering a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots. The vessel comes equipped with audio system, baitwell, fishfinder, ice box, outside speakers and rod holders. This is one sexy and fast machine for sure. The Wellcraft SCARAB is widely known for its high performance and sleek hull design that cuts through the water like a knife hence cigarette racing boat. Thrill seekers welcome. 4 persons max for hard core fishing charters to ensure safety. This sleek vessel has seating for 8 persons however we limit the max load for whale watching and all cruises to 6 passengers.

The captain, Steven Locken specializes in fishing, boat & yacht tours, whale and Dolphin adventures, California Coastal Riviera voyages, booze cruise and snorkeling & diving tours. He also offers Catalina Island and Newport Back Bay Charters.

Once onboard, you'll have facilities to make your trip as comfortable as possible: aft sundeck, bimini, bow sundeck, one berth, one cabin and one toilet.

You will find all the necessary safety features onboard, the boat features anchor, chart plotter, depth finder, GPS, life jackets, radar, sonar, VHF radio and wheel steering are included.
