I got started as a captain in Crystal River after a lifelong passion for the water and a deep appreciation for the beautiful ecosystems surrounding this area. Growing up, I spent countless hours fishing and exploring the rivers and springs, which sparked my interest in marine life and conservation. After completing my boating certification and gaining experience on the water, I knew that I wanted to share my love for this place with others. One of my favorite types of trips is the manatee tours during the winter months. There's something magical about gliding through the crystal-clear waters and encountering these gentle giants up close. Seeing the joy on my guests' faces when they spot a manatee is incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy eco-tours that focus on the diverse wildlife and unique habitats of the Nature Coast, as it allows me to educate others about the importance of preserving our natural environment. What drives me to work in this business is my passion for the outdoors and the desire to connect people with nature. I believe that experiencing the beauty of Crystal River firsthand can inspire others to appreciate and protect our waterways. Sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for the local ecosystem makes every trip fulfilling. My background includes years of boating experience, working with various marine organizations, and a commitment to conservation efforts.
