With over 20 years of experience navigating the Florida Keys, Captain Romano is a US Coast Guard licensed Master Captain who founded Something Fishy Charters in 2008. His expertise and passion for the sea ensure every trip is safe, exciting, and memorable.
Our boat is a 2019 Renaissance Prowler Catamaran, restored in 2023, offering both comfort and performance. This 25-foot power catamaran is powered by twin 140 HP Suzuki outboard engines, capable of cruising at up to 35 knots. The smooth ride and spacious layout make it perfect for up to six guests, whether you're looking for a thrilling fishing expedition or a leisurely tour of the stunning surroundings.
The vessel is well-equipped with radar, GPS, sonar, Marine Radio, and an electric windlass. It features an oversized large easy-to-board boarding ladder with handrails, an audio system with outside speakers, T top for shade, a bow sundeck, a bathing platform, and a convenient head with a toilet.
Captain Romano offers a variety of tours, including tours of exotic mangrove canals in the backcountry, eco-tours, sandbar trips, island hopping, dolphin watching, and boat tours. Onboard policies are flexible, allowing alcohol and children, ensuring everyone can enjoy the journey. Cold drinks are included and a large cooler is supplied for anything else you want to bring.

Half Day Custom Trip – 11:00 AM
Amazing day!
We charted the boat to celebrate a birthday. Captain asked us what we wanted to do/see and customized the trip for us. It was the perfect day and had a blast! Last visit to Key west we did a sailboat with the big excursion companies, and I am so glad we did this instead. Highlight of our trip to Key west! Thanks

No Brainer!
For just a bit more money than a “cattle call” group tour with all the check in and waiver stuff you can get your own private boat with room for 6 people! Captain Billy is a veteran of the waters. He used to captain the big name snorkel boat tours among many others. We parked (they have parking) and were cruising in 5 minutes. Saw dolphins(closer than the dolphin tour boats) and chilled at a sandbar like the Caribbean along with some great stories and history of the islands. I would call Captain Billy every visit!

Fun Day in the Water
We had a great day on our charter with Captain Billy. His boat is very clean. He took us where we wanted to go and was great about pointing out the local landmarks and telling us what we were seeing. I would go sailing with him again! He was great!
