2.5 Hour – Afternoon Eco Tour
Best Part of our Trip (10 stars)!!
Our family had a great time boating with Captain David around Cape Hatteras. The boat was clean, and the size was just right for our family of 4. Captain David planned a great few hours for us. He took us to one of the islands to eat lunch, we dropped a few poles in the water (no fish, but it was still fun to try), then we drove out to one of the sand bars. This was the highlight for our family, as we got off the boat, waded to the sandbar, and found some really beautiful shells and sand dollars. We are 2 adults and two teenage girls, and both girls said it was their favorite part of the trip. Captain David is extremely knowledgeable about the area, a former educator and a current firefighter. He was funny and thoughtful with what he planned for our family, and he has some pretty epic sea creature stories. Ask him about his great white shark encounter! We would highly recommend any boating experience with Captain David!

Captain Dave made our trip awesome! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, its history, and where to go to see wildlife. He’s the rare combination of super knowledgeable AND personable-he made three hours fly by and we learned so much along the way! We saw dauphins, did some fishing, asked questions about the history of the area, and saw gorgeous scenery with a beautiful sunset to finish it up!
