(Special 5 hour trip for Nicole Tycksen)

    Wonderful Trip.

We had the best time! We were a party of 6 adults and 8 kids. Courtney was great with the kids, he was patient and showed them exactly where to snorkel to see the best fish and coral. He also dove down to get the kids sells. We highly recommend big Mech! It was also very convenient that they pick you up in walking from the cruise port.

    (4 Hr – Island Hopping (10AM-2PM))

    Its Better in the Bahamas

Perfect day cruising around the Bahamas! Great atmosphere with a fun father and son team. We island hopped, they took us to their favorote spots for snorkeling and we relaxed floating on noodles in the clearest, beautiful water. Highly recommend a day with Captain Edward and his charming son Courtney.

    (4 Hr – Island Hopping (10AM-2PM))

Captain Ed is a great knowedgable guide.

Captain Ed did a great job navigating us around Nassau. He knew all the right places to go. We snorkeled at a great reef, saw a few sea turtles and of course got to see the pigs. It was a great pricste tour experience!

    (Cumberland Island Nature Tour)

    Cumberland 🐎 Horses

We appreciate Keith for his knowledge and concern for us. We celebrated my wife, released her ashes offshore, saw the beautiful Cumberland Island horses, and a huge pod of dolphin playing behind the shrimp boat which was dragging it's nets.

About Pilothouse

Pilothouse boats put comfort and control inside a protected, enclosed cabin. With tall windows and a sturdy hull, they shine in wind, spray, chill, and sudden squalls. Book a Pilothouse trip when you want year‑round boating without giving up open deck space.

A Pilothouse has an enclosed helm, the steering area, with clear sightlines, wipers, and solid weather doors. Most range from 20 to 35 feet and offer a compact galley, a V‑berth, and climate control systems. Aft, the open cockpit keeps fishing and lounging near the stern, while the forward cabin stays dry and quiet.

Skippers choose these boats for nearshore runs and offshore trips when conditions change fast. They troll, bottom fish, and cruise while guests watch birds, dolphins, and coastline views in comfort. The deep cockpit and higher gunwales, the side rails, help everyone feel secure when the sea builds quickly.

Pilothouse charters suit beginners, families, photographers, and seasoned anglers who value shelter and range. Kids and older guests appreciate shade, padded seats, handholds, and a steady ride in shifting weather. Bring layers, non‑marking shoes, a hat, and sunblock, and plan to stow small bags inside the cabin.

Before you cast off, check local licenses, permits, and operating rules for your area and trip length. Follow the captain’s safety briefing and wear a life jacket, also called a PFD, at all times underway. Respect capacity ratings, avoid BUI, which means boating under the influence, and share a simple float plan ashore.
