The description that was provided when I booked the tour said: “Embark on a 4-hour adventure that combines exploration, relaxation, and excitement! Cruise along scenic waters, dive into a secluded bay for a refreshing swim, and snorkel at a private reef teeming with marine life. If you’re in the mood to fish, try your luck and catch something fresh to prepare a delicious ceviche—we’ll provide all the ingredients, just let us know in advance. A perfect blend of fun and tranquility awaits!”.
We also were told that the tour included snacks. 
We arrived right on time and discovered that the person I had been communicating with, Captain Leonardo, was away and instead we had two guys who didn’t seem to know what had been discussed with the Captain.  We boarded the boat that immediately took off for the deep sea to do some fishing - without any safety briefing and no life vests in sight.  We were out in the deep ocean for 1 hour including the time to boat out there but since it was a bit rough, we then requested to quit fishing and to go for the snorkeling portion of the tour.  During the first hour, there was barely any communication with us, no music, and the guys just kept speaking between them. When we got on the boat, a I had explained upfront that the captain had told us that we would go to a secret cove for swimming and snorkeling so when we said that we wanted to quit fishing and go snorkeling, we expected that he was going to take us there.  Instead, they took us back to Puerto Morales close to where we boarded the boat.  At that point, we said: “wait, we thought that we were going to a secret cove.  We wouldn’t pay for a boat to take us to a place that we could just swim to from the shore”.  Brandon said “ok, ok.  You want to go for better snorkeling?” And we answered “yes, we want good snorkeling”.  He said, “ok, it is just 10 mn from here”. He takes us out to sea, to a place that I think divers use.  We get in the water with Brandon and he said that it’s important to follow him because there is a strong current.  We swam/snorkeled for about 20mn, at which time Brandon leads us back to the boat.  We did not understand why.  Later on we figured out that the boat was supposed to pick us up while we snorkeled along the reef but he couldn’t because the boat didn’t start.  When we got back onboard, he and the other guy started fiddling with the mechanics.  They didn’t explain anything.  It was 10:45 am at that point.  We waited and waited.  Finally Brandon told us that his father was coming to pick us up in his boat.  I argued that we should receive a partial refund because we didn’t get the tour as promised.  Brandon refused and said that I needed to work it out with the captain who was in Spain.  His father arrived in a small dinky boat and we had to climb over to that small boat while in the deep sea.  It was stressful.  We were back on land at 12 pm.  All in all, we had 1 hour of travel out with fishing, and 20 mn in the water for swim/snorkeling while we paid for a 4 hr tour.  No snacks, no fun, lots of unpleasant miscommunication.  We didn’t sign up to travel back in a dinghy either.  This is simply not right, and we feel that we should be refunded half of the $250 tour price for the reduced tour timet, the upset, no snacks, the stressful transfer to another boat while at sea and the inconvenience of traveling back in the junkyard boat with no shade.
