I started trips in 2000 to support my family in 2005 I decided to get a bigger boat I bought a hull from the US and brought to Roatan Island did some work on the hull once boat was ready I launched my boat in 2007. Favorite trip is the 3 days bill fishing tournament held yearly in early September. Best ever catch was an enormous blue Marlin that i hooked one afternoon around 3:00 pm and fought until 11:00 pm in the night Marlin was putting up a big fight and pulled my boat far far far into the deep blue ocean until I started to see light le from the city on mainland that’s when I decided to make him pop the line so I can return to the Island I was miles and miles off shore and at night marking was around 1000 pound fish at one hours into the fight at one point he came up to the surface of the water just before sunset I guess to check out who or what was holding him on the line his fins were huge and his eyes were very big that’s when I realized I am fighting a monster blue Marlin mr. big lips when back down in the deep and just stared pulling me out further into the deep Atlantic ocean the fish was so big my boat was like a toy he was tagging along for the ride so after many hours I let him pop the line it was a sad moment I wanted to brig him to the boat after he got tired from the fight but he wasn’t having that at all that was fight. Had many other great Marlin fights but that one was like no other. I catch and release all bill fish and sharks.
