Doubledown-Charters
Doubledown-Charters is a 2011 Boston Whaler 320 Outrage Center console (restored in 2025), based out of St. Simons Island. It can take up to six guests. The boat is powered by two 300 HP gasoline outboard Mercury engines, offering a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. The vessel comes equipped with audio system, baitwell, fishfinder, ice box, inside speakers, outside speakers and rod holders.
The captain, David Tucker, is a RETIRED US NAVY VETERAN, having served 20 years in the Navy on 3 Aurcraft Carriers, a Destroyer/ Submarine Tender AD-41 USS Yellowstone and numerous other global dury stations, specializes ocean navigation and overall maritime boating operations in boat & yacht tours and fishing charters .Captain Tucker has the US Coast Guard 100-Ton Captains Endorsement, and Georgia State DNR Licenses for Tours and Charters.
Once onboard, you'll have facilities to make your trip as comfortable as possible: aft sundeck, bow sundeck, one head and one toilet. Optional addons include catch cleaning & filleting, drinks, lunch and snacks. Onboard policies are: alcohol allowed, children allowed, pets allowed, red wine allowed onboard and smoking allowed.
You will find all the necessary safety features onboard, the boat features anchor, chart plotter, depth finder, GPS, life jackets, radar, sonar, VHF radio and wheel steering are included.
