Dana Wharf Whale Watching – Catamaran
Lot a Fun is a 2018 Cooper Marine Custom Catamaran based out of Dana Point. It can take up to twenty-five guests. The boat is powered by two 350 HP gasoline outboard Suzuki engines, offering a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots. The vessel comes equipped with an audio system and a refrigerator.
The captain, Emily, specializes in whale and dolphin watching, including boat & yacht tours.
Once onboard, you'll have everything you need for a trip to remember, including a bow sundeck, one berth, one cabin, one head, and one toilet. You will find all the necessary safety features onboard. The boat features an anchor, a chart plotter, a depth finder, GPS, life jackets, radar, and a VHF radio.

Customized graphics designed by Wyland, Artist of the Sea, cover both sides of the boat. They depict a gray whale and her baby, which is what Dana Wharf Whale & Dolphin Watching trips were originally founded on back in 1971.
This new catamaran is available NOW for private charters and group outings, including whale and dolphin watching, coastal and sunset cruises, and special events such as Dana Point Harbor’s upcoming Boat Parade of Lights.
