Miguel spent half his life in the merchant navy, on ships over a hundred metres long, crossing seas you can't see from any terrace. Until one day he was offered work on a sailing boat and discovered what he'd known as a boy, dinghy sailing: the sea was his thing — but up close. With the water a step away and the people on board with names. After COVID he decided the moment had come. In 2021 Vulcano Ocean Charter was born with the VULCANO I, a Rodman, and an idea that didn't fit into mass tourism: a luxury service run with professional judgement, where whoever comes aboard relaxes as if at home for the time they spend with us. The name comes from what these islands are: volcanoes surrounded by the Atlantic. Five seasons and 161 five-star reviews later, in 2026 the Sunseeker arrived. The boat changed; the people running it didn't. One boat, two people No fleet, no shifts: the captain and the crew member you see on this page are the ones who go out with you. On a private boat, that's worth more than it seems. On board we speak Spanish, English, Italian and French. With Vulcano since 2023; before that, luxury hospitality.
