Bertrand is a seasoned sailor and a skilled technician whose passion for the sea began early at the French Sailing School of Rosbras-Brigneaud in Brittany. A boat owner originally based in Nieuwpoort, Belgium, he spent many years perfecting his technique and building experience across the North Seas, sailing from France to the Netherlands, from Belgium to the British Isles, and from Germany to Scandinavia. In 2019, Bertrand undertook a major voyage from Belgium to Greece aboard his own yacht, crossing the North Sea, the Atlantic coast, France, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, the Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Sicily, and Crete. Since settling, he has worked as a professional skipper in Greece for seven years. He holds the highly regarded RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with Commercial Endorsement, along with Belgian and French licenses. As a great connoisseur of the marine elements, which he respects in order to better master them, Bertrand is known for prioritizing safety and composure onboard, without ever hesitating to face the wind's vagaries with determination when circumstances demand it.

How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 30 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Reserve with a 15% booking deposit, pay the captain the rest
When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 15% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
