4 Hour – Yacht Excursion (AM)
Mediocre boat ride
On the positive side, the booking was easy, the manager was helpful leading up to the boat ride and the staff was friendly. However, we were hoping for a different experience on the boat. Of the 4 hour ride, about only about 45 min of it was cruising on the water, and the captain drove extremely slow which made the choppiness of the water even more pronounced. We were taken to a party area where we parked for the next couple hours. We asked if we could cruise around to explore more of the ocean/other areas and were told that was not an option. It was not an ideal scenario for us and our young children were bored and a bit restless. Also, the condition of the boat was not as pictured; it was much more run down and was very tight for 4 adults and 5 small children. Having previously done a boat ride in Punta Cana with a different company and having a similar experience, it appears this is the formula. However, with this being branded as a luxury experience at a premium price, we would have appreciated more flexibility and customization.
