On the positive side, the booking was easy, the manager was helpful leading up to the boat ride and the staff was friendly. However, we were hoping for a different experience on the boat. Of the 4 hour ride, about only about 45 min of it was cruising on the water, and the captain drove extremely slow which made the choppiness of the water even more pronounced. We were taken to a party area where we parked for the next couple hours. We asked if we could cruise around to explore more of the ocean/other areas and were told that was not an option. It was not an ideal scenario for us and our young children were bored and a bit restless. Also, the condition of the boat was not as pictured; it was much more run down and was very tight for 4 adults and 5 small children. Having previously done a boat ride in Punta Cana with a different company and having a similar experience, it appears this is the formula. However, with this being branded as a luxury experience at a premium price, we would have appreciated more flexibility and customization.

Regarding the navigation, all private charters in the Los Corales area operate under marine and wildlife regulations that require reduced cruising speed and designated anchoring zones. Safety and environmental compliance are always our top priorities. Our experience typically combines relaxed cruising time with anchoring in the natural pool area, which many families enjoy for swimming and water activities. During your charter, we provided water toys including a paddleboard and floating platform, as well as full access to the air-conditioned cabin for additional comfort. We understand that every family has different expectations, especially when traveling with young children. While we do operate within established maritime guidelines, we always aim to create the most enjoyable experience possible within those parameters. Regarding the yacht’s condition, we maintain our vessel regularly and take pride in its upkeep. We are sorry if it did not fully align with your expectations on this occasion. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Reserve with a 25% booking deposit, pay the captain the rest
When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 25% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
