We had such an amazing time with Capt Jon. He was able to personalize our plans based on our priorities and needed accommodations. We had fun watching a dolphin chase down fish and spent time swimming around shell island and collecting shells. Jon even helped us find some cool ones 😎 He is a great communicator and captain and we will recommend him to friends and family and if we come back we will definitely go back out with him! Thanks!!

Our experience with Captain Jon’s private boating trip was truly unforgettable from start to finish. I booked this as a special Spring Break outing for my girlfriend, our two boys, our dog Beau, and myself—but it also doubled as a very meaningful moment, as I planned to propose at Shell Island since my girlfriend and the boys love shell hunting. From the beginning, Jon went above and beyond. He proactively reached out about an incoming cold front and suggested we adjust our date to ensure the best possible experience. That level of thoughtfulness made a huge difference, and I appreciated it more than I can say—we ended up with wonderful weather. During the trip, Jon worked hard to make it special for all of us. He even made sure we got to see dolphins, which the boys were thrilled about! When we arrived at Shell Island, everything fell into place for a beautiful, intimate proposal. Without me even asking, Jon captured photos of the moment—something we’ll cherish forever. That small but meaningful gesture really speaks to the kind of person he is. Jon was incredibly kind, patient, and personable throughout the entire trip. He made our family feel comfortable right away, was so friendly with our dog Beau on his first boat ride, and even let our boys take turns driving the boat—something they’re still talking about! He has a calm, easygoing presence and is genuinely enjoyable to be around. This wasn’t just a boating trip—it was a core memory for our family. I can’t recommend Captain Jon highly enough. Jon was really nice and informative, we had a lot of fun with him, it was like hanging out with a friend, shell Island was all shells, and then we went to a swimming beach, our boys had a great time, our dog was in heaven she had so much fun such a beautiful day, thank you for a wonderful day, we would definitely recommend Jon!! 😊🌞😊

My family and I had never been on a boat trip like that and he made the experience so great. He communicated the entire time and over all would definitely go back if we made another trip down.

We traveled around pedre island around 1h! Unfortunately cause the weather we didn’t see the turtles and dolphins but it was really fun and good experience! Also captain let us bring our pet! He enjoyed boat rides too! The weather was hot but the boat’s speed was high! So we can stay cool! Best boat tour ever!
