Our experience with Captain Jon’s private boating trip was truly unforgettable from start to finish. I booked this as a special Spring Break outing for my girlfriend, our two boys, our dog Beau, and myself—but it also doubled as a very meaningful moment, as I planned to propose at Shell Island since my girlfriend and the boys love shell hunting. From the beginning, Jon went above and beyond. He proactively reached out about an incoming cold front and suggested we adjust our date to ensure the best possible experience. That level of thoughtfulness made a huge difference, and I appreciated it more than I can say—we ended up with wonderful weather. During the trip, Jon worked hard to make it special for all of us. He even made sure we got to see dolphins, which the boys were thrilled about! When we arrived at Shell Island, everything fell into place for a beautiful, intimate proposal. Without me even asking, Jon captured photos of the moment—something we’ll cherish forever. That small but meaningful gesture really speaks to the kind of person he is. Jon was incredibly kind, patient, and personable throughout the entire trip. He made our family feel comfortable right away, was so friendly with our dog Beau on his first boat ride, and even let our boys take turns driving the boat—something they’re still talking about! He has a calm, easygoing presence and is genuinely enjoyable to be around. This wasn’t just a boating trip—it was a core memory for our family. I can’t recommend Captain Jon highly enough. If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate—it is absolutely worth it.

We had such a wonderful and memorable dolphin-watching tour with Captain John! 🐬 He took my daughter and me to some beautiful spots where we were able to see dolphins up close. It made her birthday extra special and created memories we’ll cherish. Captain John is so friendly and personable, and we’re already looking forward to booking another boat tour with him in the future. Highly recommend! ⭐️

We really enjoyed our shelling adventure! Captain Jon was super nice and informative. The boat ride was fun. We saw lots of birds, crabs, hermit crabs, dolphins, coyotes and left with buckets of shells. We had never done anything like this before but it was such a great addition to our trip. 10/10 would highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Phenomenal experience! We had such an incredible time on our cruise with Captain Jon! He was an awesome driver—super skilled, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone on board had a smooth and fun ride. Captain Jon was great with the kids and we found many shells on our trip. We even came across dolphins on the way and he stopped so we could get a closer look, and was very patient. This is a great trip for families and we will definitely be booking him again next time we are in town.
