4-1/2 Hour PM Striper/Bluefish Trip on July 9, 2024
My son and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Capt. Doug and Bob at St. Pete Sport Fishing. Even though the visibility wasn’t great, their knowledge of the local waters, focus on safety, calm teaching style, and sense of humor made it a blast from the very start. Beyond that, they had us on fish (many fish!!) despite the conditions! It was easily one of the most fun and incredible memory-making ways to spend the day with my son (setting some new family fishing records along the way!). If you’re looking to charter a fishing trip, stop looking and call Doug @ St. Pete Sport Fishing - you’ll thank me later.

Amazing!
My son and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Capt. Doug and Bob at St. Pete Sport Fishing. Great Trip!
4-1/2 Hour AM Striper/Bluefish Trip on June 28, 2024
It was pretty windy when we left the dock but Captain Doug did his best to ensure a smooth ride and find calmer water for the first part of the trip. We did catch some fish and fortunately the wind settled down allowing us to return to better fishing grounds where we hooked up very few minutes. The wire snapping technique was something new and fun and yielded great results. First Mate Bob helped my son (11yrs) and father (74yrs) get on some fish and we all had a blast. The boat had a nice cabin which kept us dry on the ride home. Over all Captain Doug and First Mate Bob were super friendly, knowledgeable and ensured we had a great time including catching dinner! I would recommend and book again!

6-Hour Striper/Bluefish Trip on September 3, 2024
This was my very first time experiencing a Chartered Fishing Trip. Despite having a some motion sickness, I was able to enjoy myself & had a great time. Captain Doug was great! Very personable, ready to answer my questions, very knowledgeable about fishing & the Cape Cod area. We caught some really good fish. We took 2 home for dinner & they were sooo good!! A great experience! Would definitely recommend.

First timer here!!

At the captain’s recommendation, we went from fishing black sea bass to striped bass and it was fantastic. My son and I caught more fish than we can remember. The first mate was capable and helpful with all things fishing. Now that I’ve tasted the sea, I get all the countless novels and poems of ocean life that I had to read through grade school. I would definitely book with Captain Doug and his crew again.
