Fun time and fun guide

Captain Alex made the trip for the four of us. He is a funny, fun, experienced, and good guy. He got us on fish and explains everything, teaching us. He got my group on a limit of red snappers even though the weather conditions weren’t ideal. He knew he had to keep moving to get on fish and figured out the fish in the time we were with him. He is a great guy to talk to and keep you entertained. His boat is organized and clean. Not only that, the restaurants we went to knew who he is and can confirm the great things we had to say about him. He even recommended some other restaurants that were phenomenal for our catch and cook. Book captain Alex for your next trip! And you can’t forget about the beard!

Fun time and fun guide
Captain Alex made the trip for the four of us. He is a funny, fun, experienced, and good guy. He got us on fish and explains everything, teaching us. This trip had the preamble to be dismal. Slow bite, unfavorable conditions, eratic weather,... but Capt Alex did a phenomenal job and put us on some amazing fish. Family oriented. Positive. Calt Alex was great with young Inexperienced fishermen. He set them up to keep them busy and give them the best experience, all while being mindful of the ultimate goal, finding the fish and getting them in the boat. Highly Highly recommend. Unless there's no booking available, I don't see any reason to use any other guide in Destin.

We had an awesome trip! Captain Alex was awesome! Bent rods all afternoon!

My 17 year old son and I had never fished offshore before. Captain Alex Short had us on fish immediately. We had a King Mackerel on 10 minutes into the trip. We moved further offshore and targeted more species. My son had the hot hand of the day, he caught Trigger fish, (Vermillion, Red, and Mangrove Snappers), a 31.5 inch Grouper, and had a second larger Grouper on when it got inhaled by a 9 foot Bull Shark. He battled the Bull Shark for 45 minutes before we got it to the boat and released it. Captain Alex estimated it at 400 pounds. What a fight and what a day. I would highly recommend Life's Too Short Charters. It was a Great Experience. Thanks Captain Alex.

Y'all I highly recommend Life's 2 short with Captain Alex short, friendly , funny, fun, social just All around Amazing!! If this is your first ,or 2nd time or 100th time you looking to have a fun relaxing life filled experience Alex .. Life's 2 Short is exactly that. A captain that can connect with your kids or teens to and help guide them to where you end up having a long conversation after it all and that was the one thing that made you sad to leave here definitely is hands down the best. Check him out , you will be Glad you did. Alex I cannot thank you enough for a life time experience. The Boys Levi, Christian had a blast , we all did. Thank you again!! Alex is a great captain. I brought 2 of my kids ages 11 & 13. We had a great time almost limited out on Vermillion snapper and saw a variety of other fish to include hooking a bull shark which was a great fight. My kids had a great time and caught a bunch. Incredibly friendly guy we will absolutely be back when we’re back in Destin.
