Flamingo Everglades fishing trip on January 15, 2025

This was my first time in the Everglades and it could not have been any better! From the scenery, remoteness, and full exploration of the park from one side to the other, to the numerous fish species caught, and the knowledge, expertise, and impact of Captain Joey, this trip will be remembered for the rest of my life! I’ve never met a guide anywhere, doing any activity, that is so willing to extend your time and cover an immense area to make sure your trip is one you’ll remember forever. I hope I can get back down here shortly and I can say with no hesitation that Captain Joey will be my guy! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Captain Joey, thank you!

Flamingo Everglades fishing trip

Flamingo Everglades fishing trip on December 30, 2024

My son and I fished with Captain Joey 2 days in a row. The first day was in the park at Flamingo. Joey put us on fish, and even better, Joey fished with us so we could learn from him. We caught multiple species, and Captain Joey caught a couple that we didn't. He took the time to really show us the fish and teach us about each different species. For us this was our first time fishing outside Ohio, and Joey made the trip amazing. Joey is fun, funny, patient, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this trip to anyone. The fast boat ride through the Everglades was a great bonus.

It’s definitely true what they say the coolest people come from Ohio. This father and son team was the best they fish like pros and did everything I told them to two days in a row they were incredible. I had a really great time fishing with you guys in the Florida Everglades. I want to thank you for letting me show you my house two days in a row You guys did a phenomenal job efficiently Fishing the Glades. it was definitely my pleasure accompanying this father and son team on their Everglades Fishing excursion. Flamingo Everglades fishing trip

Flamingo Everglades fishing trip on December 15, 2024

We had high winds in Flamingo and I had low expectations but Joey put us on the fish and kept us in the best situations available. We caught 9 different species of fish in tough conditions and only someone with a ton of experience could keep us catching fish all day in those conditions. Capt Joey gave us experiences and education which are grateful for. Joey’s energy level is infectious and excited us for the day. We caught some snook, reds, trout, grouper, black drum and more. I’ll be linking up with captain Joey again the next chance I get. Thanks, Joey!

A big thank you to Danny and his family  for coming on this trip to Everglades National Park. We had 25 to 30 mile an hour winds so doing outside in Florida Bay was out of the question . we finished the inside of the park, Joe’s River shark River and White water Bay using the small islands for cover as we were pounded by wind and water. The morning started off, kind of slow, and as the water temperatures began to rise, we started to see more and more fish caught a couple, beautiful trout, goliath, grouper, black drum sheep head and snook . it turned out to be a pretty good day after all, and everybody got their pictures even went home with some fish to eat and that’s what it’s all about.  thank you Danny for choosing Joeyflats fishing.com. It was my pleasure to show you and your family around the Everglades. You guys did such a great job. Listen to everything that I said and executed perfectly hope to see you soon guys have a merry Christmas and happy new year Capt. Joey.👊💯👍🙏

Flamingo Everglades fishing trip on April 6, 2024

My boyfriend and I did a 5 hour trip with Captain Joey this weekend. We had a great time! We caught a lot of fish including trout, snook, snapper, sheep head and more. Captain Joey was a fantastic captain with tons of knowledge and stories. It was a great way to see a good portion of the Everglades that we would not have been able to otherwise. He also cleaned and filleted our fish so that we could get it cooked at a local place which was really awesome. Don’t hesitate to book with Joey, you won’t be disappointed!

These two cocking 👍 backcountry slam, which is a redfish trout and snook congratulations guys pretty good accomplishment for two people who’ve never fished Everglades National Park before. Flamingo Everglades fishing trip
