From the beginning, Rob was prompt with correspondence and suggestions for my husbands surprise fishing trip. We were greeted with the best smiles and happy birthday, they also collected us from the beach at the Sofitel instead of having to go to the port. As soon as we boarded the boat both Captains, Tess & Maika, outlined their 20yrs experience and went through the safety briefing which put me at ease. They were informative and gave a commentary of the areas we were in and outlined our day so we knew what to expect. Both were super friendly, down to earth and couldn’t do enough for us. My husband grew up fishing and on the water but I am not a strong swimmer so was a little anxious, I had never caught a fish, I had never snorkeled and I always get car sick, HOWEVER, with Tess and Maika coaching I reeled in my first fish, I went snorking and discovered a whole new world down there plus I didn’t get sea sick, couldn’t believe it!! Both captains checked in on me and gave tips to keep my stomach steady.
