Half Day Trip (AM) on November 11, 2024
We arrived early and watched the sun come up on the beach while the captain and crew got the boat ready. We were promptly acknowledged and we climbed aboard. We started out trolling, the crew was very informative and shared lots of insight on what we were doing, and what was going on around us. We started barrel fishing and immediately started catching fish. We caught lots of trigger fish, and had fish get off the hook as well. We caught a needle fish, a mouse head as well, all in all it was fun catching what we did. The boat was clean, the crew was very courteous, the cooler was stocked with a variety of ice cold drinks. Great morning on the water!

Half Day Trip (AM)
La Reina Sport Fishing Riviera Maya was great!

Half Day Trip (AM) on February 22, 2024
We arrived at the beach a bit early and the captain yelled out to us with our reservation name. We responded and were taken aboard and we got underway early. We were given options of fishing techniques and chose to troll to a known area of good drop fishing. No hits on the way there, but immediately started pulling in Trigger Fish with a few tips from the captain. Six of us were catching them one after another. Probably 30 caught altogether! We chose the half day trip, so only had about an hour and a half in the area. We trolled back to Playa and enjoyed some tequila provided by the captain along with a couple of beers each. We kept three fish that the crew filleted and took them to a restaurant recommended by the captain and had a wonderful lunch of the fish we had just caught! I will choose La Reina every time we visit for a great day of fishing!

Great Family Trip

We had a great time! We caught lots of fish in several different places. Got to do some snorkeling and swimming with sting rays. Kids had a great time. The captain and first mate were great, patient with the kids, and gave us different options. Very experienced anglers. Boat was great for our family of 5, plenty of room. Would definitely book again.

Great Family Trip
We had a great time! We caught lots of fish in several different places. Got to do some snorkeling and swimming with sting rays. Kids had a great time. If I could have given more than 5 stars I would have. Best experience, great communication and very professional. We did a 6 hour trip and chose to troll all day. We caught a variety of fish, the highlight of the trip was when both my husband and I hooked up on 2 Sailfish at the same time. If you’re looking for a great fishing trip this is the company to go with. We will definitely be back Thanks so much!!
