Half Day Trip (AM) on January 2, 2025
My brother and I were only out for the 4-hour trip but we caught 6 fish, including mahi mahi, wahoo, and barracuda even though it wasn't the best time of year for fishing, Teddy made sure we had a great time and caught some great fish. We then had the captain cut up the fish so we could eat it for lunch right when we got back to the dock!

Amazing captain!

We recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing charter with Captain Teddy and Fishing 242 Charters and we couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, Captain Teddy demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a true passion for fishing. The boat was impeccably maintained and equipped with everything we needed for a successful day on the water. Captain Teddy's attention to detail in keeping the boat clean and organized was apparent, making for a comfortable and enjoyable trip. What stood out the most was Captain Teddy's dedication and hard work. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience, constantly adjusting our strategy and locations to maximize our chances of catching fish. His enthusiasm was infectious, and it was clear that he loves what he does. Every time we got a bite, Captain Teddy's excitement was palpable, adding to the thrill of the catch. We had an amazing time on the trip! It was our first fishing charter and Captain Teddy made it such a memorable trip! The communication from the Captain was great! He messaged me promptly at 7am the day of the charter and was ready to take off the second we got to the boat! He was all geared up and ready for the action! Captain Teddy was very friendly and great to talk it up with! We hooked up within 30mins from leaving the dock! He tried his hardest to get us some fish and fished till the last minute we couldn’t have asked for anything more! If you’re looking for a fishing charter look no further Captain Teddy is your guy! Thank you Captain for such a great experience!

Captain Teddy is an expert, he knows exactly where the fish are. We trolled 5 lines and within 30 mins of leaving the dock we were tripled up on tuna. 4 hours is plenty of time to get on the meat with this charter. We pulled in 4 Yellowfin and 3 Skipjack. The boat is in immaculate condition and captain teddy is consistently washing while working (a very good thing). Everything is rigged to perfection. Captain teddy did it all, I didn’t have any slime or fishy smells on me. I am definitely recommending this charter to anyone coming to Nassau and will 100% book it again.

Created a core memory fishing with the 242. Captain Teddy was first class and so was his boat, equipment, and fishing knowledge. My son and I will fish again with the 242 if ever in the Bahamas again. Side note: Overhearing the CB it was evident we were the only boat really into the fish and landing some great fish at that!
