Family awesome new experience!!!

Our family of 5 were so exited with the chance for a new experience, and we were not disappointed at all. The captain was fun, full of I formation for us; so patient and ready with answers to all of our questions. The 1st mate was super readily available to prepare our equipment every time we caught a blue fin tuna he was all ready preparing for the next one. So many things we loved of this experience I wouldn't be able to write then all, and boy!! Did we caught so many yellow tells and blue fin tuna!!! WAHOO!!! IT REALLY WAS AMAZING. Thanks to all of the crew.

Wonderful Experience during our 6 hours fisshing trip
3/4 Day Trip on December 5, 2024
Captain Sean and first mate Jason worked very hard during our trip to enable a memorable experience. Knowledgeable, pleasant and focused, they guided us for some reef fishing, and deep sea fishing. We caught over 20 fish, 3 big barracudas (have to let them go, not eatable), 15+ yellow tail and mutton snappers (kept 13), a large cero mackerel (very tasty!), several remora (sharks were also chasing the yellow tail snappers!) and needle fish that we let go. Sean and Jason tried very hard to maximize the time we had on the boat. The crew cleaned and packed in ice the fish at the end of trip, absolutely professionals. Truly wished we would have done the 8 hours trip with them! Highly recommend this company, Sean and Maryann are the co-owners, great people.

Wonderful Experience during our 6 hours fisshing trip
Captain Sean and first mate Jason worked very hard during our trip to enable a memorable experience. Knowledgeable, pleasant and focused, they guided us for some reef fishing, and deep sea fishing. Great Fishing Excursion in Key West
3/4 Day Trip on October 31, 2024
My son and I booked a 6 hour fishing trip with Boa Vida in late October. Water was a bit choppy but everything else about the trip was fantastic. Crew of Jason and Sean was very professional, friendly and helpful. Very experienced, took us to a reef area and deep water. We caught a variety of fish including barracudas, mackerel, snapper and small sharks. After the trip, they cleaned the fish and gave us a great recommendation of a restaurant that cooked up our fish for us (and did a fantastic job). Next day, I asked Maryann about recommendations for snorkelling tours. Once again, great advice and we enjoyed a tour that was very well done. Would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in a fishing trip from Key West.

Great Fishing Excursion in Key West
My son and I booked a 6 hour fishing trip with Boa Vida in late October. Water was a bit choppy but everything else about the trip was fantastic. Crew took the the time to understnd what we were hoping to get out of our 4 hour charter, and aimed to plz. We basically wanted to catch enough fish to feed family of 4 for one dinner, then we wanted to focus on doing more sport fishing. We quickly caught plenty of yellow tail snapper and 1 big makrel for dinner, before moving locations, which afforded us the opportunity to catch a green eel (unintended & released unharmed), several barracuda, and likely a couple sharks we cut loose early. We also saw dolphins and sea turtles during our time. Would definitely book Bona Vida again!

Half Day Trip (AM) on April 23, 2024
We went on the morning half day with Boa Vida. Our only goal was to catch enough fish for that nights dinner for six. We also wanted to try some off shore fishing for some the larger game fish. Our Captain Sean suggested we try reef fishing first and get our fish for dinner. We caught a bunch of yellowtail snapper and then headed out to try for the bigger fish. It was a bit rough but Sean and first mate Jason handled the boat and rods extremely well and we were able to pull in a couple of Mahi-Mahi. The crew filleted the fish expertly and we went home with more than enough fish for dinner. We went to Half Shell Raw Bar as they suggested and had a great dinner. This was a highlight of our Key West vacation and cannot recommend Boa Vida Charters more. From ease of booking, communication and service they are first rate.

Great time with Boa Vida!
