For Captain Tim Frey, life on the water started at an early age. As a child, Tim spent countless hours fishing with his dad on the Chain O’ Lakes, exploring the waterways from a simple rented rowboat. Those early adventures sparked a lifelong love for boating, fishing, and the unique atmosphere that comes with spending time on the water. After college, Tim returned to the Chain O’ Lakes with a boat of his own, spending years enjoying everything the area had to offer. His passion for boating eventually took him to Lake Michigan, where he built a successful fishing charter business out of Montrose Harbor. After years on Lake Michigan, Tim returned to the Chain O’ Lakes, drawn back by its lively atmosphere, beautiful waterways, and the unforgettable experiences it offers. Today, through Pontoon Waterway Cruises, he enjoys sharing that passion with guests aboard his 2018 Misty Harbor Pontoon.
