Island Adventures is a veteran-owned private charter company in Islamorada, Florida Keys. Your group of up to six guests gets the boat and captain to yourselves—no strangers added, no crowded tour boat, and no rigid one-size-fits-all itinerary.
Choose a private snorkeling adventure, Islamorada Sandbar trip, sunset cruise, or a custom charter built around your group. Captain Jim adjusts the plan for the day based on wind, water conditions, visibility, guest comfort, and what you want to experience.
The Hurricane deck boat offers comfortable seating, shade, easy water access, snorkel gear, a paddleboard, floating mat, cooler with ice and water, music, and required safety equipment. Families, couples, first-time snorkelers, and small groups are welcome.
Trips depart from Angler House Marina at 80500 Overseas Highway in Islamorada, with private parking and convenient marina amenities.
Your price includes the private boat, licensed captain, fuel, safety equipment, and everything listed with your selected trip. Safety comes first; if conditions are not suitable for a planned activity, Captain Jim will work with you on the best available option.

Captain Jim was amazing and the sunset cruise we experienced with Island Adventures was breathtaking! We enjoyed every moment of our time. Wonderful conversation and a breathtaking sunset that only the Keys could provide. If you have the opportunity take the Sunset Cruise with Captain Jim, you will not be disappointed.

We booked two trips with Captain Jim and had a great time despite some persistent winds! We had us a couple in our later years and a pair of 23 year olds, and everyone had fun!

We had a great day on the water with Captain Jim. Started off snorkeling in a protected cove which was great for my eight year old. Visibility was great and got to sea a wide variety of species. Next we headed out to the sandbar. Beautiful blue water to splash around and relax. While at the sandbar we saw a rare animal called a sea hare. We would definitely recommend this trip to others.
